Big Cats in Britain big cat conference

23 - 34 - 35th March 2007
The Dorchester Hotel, Hull, East Yorkshire

After the success of the first conference BCIB have decided to hold this as an annual event.

Tickets are on sale now, more information can be found at www.bigcatsinbritain.org or directly on http://www.scottishbigcats.co.uk/2007conference.htm
Speakers may be subject to change but so far those confirmed are

Jonathan Downes - Centre for Fortean Zoology
Chris Moiser - Devon Big Cats
Chris Hall - Big Cats on Teesside
Jonathan McGowan - Big Cats in Dorset
Investigators forum: Shaun Stevens, Terry Dye, Alan White, Jonathan McGowan, Jonathan Downes, Chris Moiser, Mark Fraser, Chris Hall


There will also be stalls, displays and stands.

A bit more up to date

Anyone with an interest in British Big Cats should not miss this years conference, its going to be a good one!

Itinary subject to change.

Programmes will be available at the venue for a modest price

Stands & Displays

BCIB display stands
Field equipment display – N/V cameras, hides etc.
Northumbria Mammal Group
Memorabilia
After each talk there will be five or ten minutes audience question time.

Friday 20th March
17.00 – 18.00 Staff set up at venue informal get together
18.00 Gather at hotel bar
18.15 Welcome and introductions – Rick Minter (to be repeated in the morning)
18:30 30 minute film show made by BCIB

Saturday 21st March
09:00 Rest of displays set up, registration & chance to view the displays
09:20 Introduction by Rick Minter – weekend’s itinerary
10:00 30 minute film show made by BCIB.
10:45 The East Kilbride cat with Jimmy (confirmation needed)
11:20 Tea Break
11:40 TBA

12:30 LUNCH
13:30 TBA
14:30 Eddie Bell
15:30 Tea break

15:45 Di Francis
