There has been several theories as to what the "Golden Rat of Kenwood Pond may be," Rat, Hampster, Water Vole etc, but nothing as yet seems to be conclusive regards this.
Is there anyone living near to Hampstead Heath, London which may be able to help us accumulate further information regarding this mystery?

According to my map, reported sightings of this creature are less than 2 miles away from the nearest zoo.
