hi Kazz, i have just emailed chris with a big cat sighting. it is the second one on the same road in two years. the first was in the early hours of one morning last year when a friend who is a coach driver saw one cross the road after dropping some people off after a dinner dance. it walked out right in front of the coach, stopped looked directly at her where she noticed it had a rabbit in it's mouth, it then went the rest of the way across the road and through the hedge into the woods beyond. she said it was a panther, almost as large as a great dane, longer body and black with a smooth shiny coat, she said it looked well fed too. then yesterday another friends mum saw a smaller one crossing the same road but further up. she said it was bigger than a fox but not quite as big as a labrador, black with long legs and a tail that was the length and a half of it's body and which curled over at the end. we wondered if it was a young one. the woods where they have been seen are part of west lodge rural centre near desborough ( where i live ) and who my mum works for. i might ask my mum if they would let me have a mooch round up there. and for xmas last year i got a camcorder with night vision etc and a decentish digital camera which might come in very useful.
