the only info i can find on them is as follows. they have been spotted in small groups in wraysbury, berkshire and around 800 of them are supposed to gather at dusk at elmbridge leisure centre at walton on thames in surrey. the estimated british feral population is around 1000 - 5000 birds mostly found in the south east.

I saw a large flock of these in September 2003 at Crystal Palace in London. They were loud, numerous and flitting about between trees behind the Sport England athelete accomodation flats without a care in the world. I keep birds and recognised the parrotlike calls so looked up. The birds kept me entertained for three days so they were both comfortable and familiar with the environment. I was there participating in a sporting event along with hundreds others who didn`t seem to notice the birds.
